Heather is wonderful and I can't say enough great things about her. She is a "soup to nuts" kind of gal. I personally think I am good at planning and coordinating parties at my home and I am used to handling all of the small details myself, (and believe me, I am very picky), but I knew I wouldn't be able to do this for my daughter's destination beach wedding in Lewes, DE and still be able to enjoy her special day. My daughter lives in Phoenix, AZ and she asked me early on if I could please help her with her wedding details and I immediately became overwhelmed with it all. I never hired an event coordinator so I didn't really know what to expect. Then I met Heather approximately 1 year prior to our wedding event and I knew immediately that I could work with her comfortably. Heather is a very down to earth person and has a very laid-back demeanor, but don't be fooled, she is extremely experienced and dedicated, has all the contacts, and is a "worker bee". There isn't any request that Heather cannot and will not handle. She kept reminding me throughout the year that I was paying her "to do the worrying and rushing around" and to just let go and put my trust in her -- it wasn't easy for me, but I finally did and I'm really glad. Heather did everything -- we even had her purchase 50 mum plants and wrap all of them in tissue paper and ribbons and haul them around - talk about labor intensive, but she was happy to do it. When the wedding weekend finally arrived, Heather made herself available for us from early Friday morning decorating the reception site, then off to the Friday afternoon rehearsal at the beach, then back to the reception site Friday night and Saturday morning to put the final touches on everything, then Saturday afternoon she was at the beach to meet the rental company and decorate the beach, picked up the bridal flowers, then returned to the beach to coordinate everything and greet guests, then take down the props on the beach and deal with the chair rental pickup, then returned to the reception Saturday evening to assist with every and anything to late Saturday night to handle the take down of decorations, and throughout it all she was as calm and happy as could be and so nice to everyone. She oversaw every step of the event to the end of the reception and even more. She made herself available for an entire year, whenever I needed her and the above description doesn't even cover it all. Believe me when I say that Heather is worth every penny and then some. Thank you Heather for making my daughter's dream wedding come true and for the opportunity to get to know you. I will miss you.

Where do I start? We kind of acquired Heather as our wedding coordinator when we decided to switch venues 6 months before our wedding! I was really nervous about having a planner because it's such a big day to put all your trust into someone you don't know. Well all I can say is Thank God we did!!! Heather quickly found us a new reception venue (Irish Eyes in Lewes), and also negotiated great prices for everything too! She also booked the rental chairs for the beach wedding and the rental dance floor for the reception. Since we live a couple hours away, she was always available throughout the planning process by phone or email. Even if I was stressed out about something she always stayed super nice and professional too. She NEVER ONCE made me feel rushed or worried. She would always say "don't worry about it, I'll take care of it." I was amazed at how laidback she is but yet still gets everything done perfectly. She came to my parents house a few days before the wedding and let me fill her car with all the things we needed for the weekend. Then she came to the rehearsal and made sure everything went according to plan. She assisted with all the decorating for the wedding on the beach and the reception too. Then she stayed for the entire reception and cleaned everything up afterwards, took all the decorations and things and dropped them off at my parents house the next day!! I couldn't believe how much she did for us (I probably don't even know everything). She definitely went above and beyond any expectations that I had. She really was there every step of the day, making sure everything was perfect. And it really was. I felt so relaxed the entire time and I owe it all to Heather. We could not have done it without her! Her calming nature really does make this job perfect for her, and I completely trusted that everything would go smoothly simply because she said it would, and I believed her. I hear stories from other brides about how their planner was always rushing around, or pressuring them to do things quicker, or always worrying about sticking to a timeline, and I am so grateful we didn't have to worry about any of that with Heather. I highly highly recommend her to anyone who is in need of a wedding planner, or any event planned for that matter. Thank you again Heather!!! It was the best day of my life and I'm so glad you were there to share it with us!
